This is Kate at the age of 6 (or
thereabouts) in
the
forest near Lyndhurst.
I am clearly failing to understand something, even with the aid of a
sandwich.
In this instance it could well have been how I came to father such an
argumentative daughter! |

I've watched
her and
her horse
somersault over a fence, with the horse landing half on top of her, and
thought
to myself "Biking is not THAT dangerous"! Thankfully her forte has
proved to be dressage, for which she has won a number of trophies.. |
| Having driven this thing over most of
Durham and
Northumberland, I find
that my attitude to other drivers has changed - anyone in a different
mode of
transport to me, whatever I happen to be driving or riding at the time,
is in
the wrong. |
