Short trips

Posted on 28th January 2016 by Colin

We usually go skiing a couple of weeks a year, and sometimes take shorter breaks away from home in the UK. We don’t normally write these up, but here are a few we have.

A few days in Tenby 2007 (photographs only).

A week in Meribel 2009.

A Birthday in Scotland 2017.

A week in Europe 2018.

A week in Ardnamurchan 2020.

Future plans

All holiday plans have been put on hold for the moment, thanks to Covid-19. One day we’ll get back across the Channel!

Comment

Guardian opinion 10th April 2020 concerning the effect of a decade of Tory rule on the UK’s ability to deal with Covid-19. “Austerity blunted the ambition and commitment of government to protect its people. The political objective was to diminish the size and role of the state. The result was to leave the country fatally weakened.”
